Coffee subscriptions

Anyone have suggestions on good coffee subscription services?

We’re thinking about subscribing to a service to shake up our typical drinking routine(s). HQ/rare/experimental varieties and/or an espresso option is a plus, but we’re open to anything.

Can I recommend GroundsDAO, perhaps!

If you go for any “super fresh, roasted and shipped to you” coffee services, be wary that it’s actually good for beans to sit and degas for about 10-14 days before you brew with them. In some sense, ultra-fresh beans and very difficult to work with and can yield unpredictable results.

But other than that, I’d recommend a subscription from a brewer you like.

I’d recommend Sweet Bloom to start

I had slurp rare for a while. Was very nice. Rotating roasters. Mame and Kawa both have nice speciamtt subscriptions as well.

I really enjoyed my la columbe subscription.
I went with variety option as I prefer to get a tour of roasts than pick a specific roast per delivery. Though sometimes if they had something interesting I’d directly order it.

I like their aeropress grind size if you don’t have a grinder which is really decent as many places I’ve found don’t have a size inbetween french press and espresso.
